We are seeking community members who are interested in helping guide the future of a growing and dynamic fire district. MVFR serves approximately 82,000 residents across roughly 250 square miles, covering portions of Boulder, Weld, and Jefferson counties, including the communities of Dacono, Erie, Mead, Superior, and Niwot.

Applicants must live in or own property within the district boundaries and should submit a brief letter of interest that includes a short bio that highlights the strengths they would bring to the role. The appointed position will serve until the next district election in May 2027, with the opportunity to run for re-election.

This is a unique opportunity to play a role in shaping the services, priorities, and future of your fire district while serving your community in a meaningful way.
