FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 1, 2021
It’s Official, Mountain View Fire Rescue and Rocky Mountain Fire District have legally merged and become one organization. Over the past year the Boards and Staff of each agency worked together to create a community-oriented organization combining both agencies' programs and creating a framework for the future. Through hard work and dedication, the merged Mountain View Fire District is poised to continue providing high-quality efficient fire, rescue, and EMS service to all its residents and visitors.
The citizens of Mountain View Fire Rescue will continue receiving the same quality care and attention from highly trained and qualified individuals. Over the next year firefighters will begin cross-training in areas of the District that may be new to them. Paramedics will have more opportunities to rotate in and out of busier stations to maintain skill sets and programs will continue to be fine-tuned with the enhanced capabilities of the merged district. While trucks have been restriped, uniforms changed, and some stations renumbered, our commitment to the public remains unchanged.
All of us here at Mountain View Fire look forward to providing our customers with pride and dedication to public service. For questions, please visit our website at www.mvfpd.org or call 303-772-0710.
