Suzanne DeVenny was appointed to the Mountain View Fire Board of Directors in November 2020 as part of the merger between Mountain View and Rocky Mountain Fire. She is currently the Board Treasurer.

Prior to joining Mountain View she served on the Rocky Mountain Fire Board of Directors from 2015-2022.

As a member of the Mountain View Board of Directors, Suzanne has three guiding principles:

3.      Provide high-quality emergency and community services to the residents of our District in a fiscally responsible manner

Suzanne and her husband have been residents of Superior since 2000. They raised their son here and were actively involved in Cub/Boy Scouts and marching band.  In the past Suzanne has also volunteered with the Indian Peaks Wilderness Alliance and as a Copper Mountain Ambassador.

Suzanne is the owner of Advantage Plus Bookkeeping, which she founded in 2003 and has been a long-time member of the Superior Chamber of Commerce.

Suzanne fell in love with Colorado when she first visited in 1968 and she enjoys the outdoors opportunities of her adopted state – skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and camping.
