The Technical Rescue Team is responsible for the delivery of specialized technical rescue skills for the rescue of those individuals from the following areas: Rope Rescue, Tower Rescue, Confined Space Rescue, Water Rescue, Ice Rescue, Large Vehicle Extrication and Stabilization, Trench Rescue and Structural Collapse Rescue. The technical team is responsible for the creation of strategic and tactical delivery of those skills and abilities for the rescue of individuals who require rescues from the above categories. While the team is not able to complete the rescues by themselves, training of the online personnel under the supervision of the Technical Rescue Team will allow for the required personnel and expertise to complete most of the challenges presented by the technical rescue arena.
