Bravery Award presented to Addison Meyer

A group of firefighters and police officers pose with children in front of a fire truck on a sunny day.

Today MVFR awarded Addison Meyer with a bravery  award for her actions when she spotted smoke from a fire that was outside of a house.  She responded in the most appropriate way! She told her grandparents, who were able to let the neighbors know there was a fire and they all safely left the house.  She proceeded to take a garden hose and spray the fire until the fire department got there.  Way to go young lady!!!
