The National Fire Protection Association's theme for 2026 Fire Prevention Week is:

Safe Charging Is a Superpower!

Fire Prevention Week™ is October 4–10, 2026. “Charge Into Fire Safety™. Safe Charging Is a Superpower” focuses on the everyday charging habits that can help reduce the risk of lithium-ion battery fires and keep homes and communities safer.

We are starting to schedule visits from our outreach team and firefighters to the classroom! Please use the signup link below to reserve your classroom's spot. We are asking for teachers or school staff to select the date and a morning session or afternoon session for our visit. Once you have selected a time slot, you will be prompted to enter specific start and stop times within that larger time slot. 

We will do our best to visit every school and meet your scheduling needs for fire prevention safety.
